Terms of Service

Effective date: October 17, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the websites, software, products, and services operated by the companies listed below. By using any of those websites or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The companies these Terms cover

These Terms apply to, and are issued on behalf of, each of the following companies, listed separately. Each one is a distinct business and is referred to below by its name:

  • Seigler Corp — the operating company, which conducts business under two trade names (DBAs):
  • Coastal Construction and Maintenance — a business operating as a DBA of Seigler Corp, providing construction and maintenance services.
  • Seigler Consulting — a business operating as a DBA of Seigler Corp, providing consulting services.
  • Seigler Holding LLC — a property holding and investment company.

Collectively these companies, and their respective affiliates, are referred to in these Terms as “we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Company.” These Terms bind Seigler Corp, Coastal Construction and Maintenance, Seigler Consulting, and Seigler Holding LLC, each individually, with respect to their own products, services, and websites.

2. Use of our websites and services

You may use our websites and services only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any information you submit to us through our forms, and for keeping any account credentials you hold confidential.

3. Your submissions

When you submit information to us — for example through the “Tell Us About Your Project” form or a booking form — you represent that it is accurate and that you are authorized to share it. You authorize us to use that information to respond to your inquiry and to provide the services you requested, and the consent you give in those forms is governed by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual property

The content, software, branding, and materials on these websites are the property of the applicable company — Seigler Corp, Coastal Construction and Maintenance, Seigler Consulting, or Seigler Holding LLC, as applicable, or their licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reuse them without the company’s permission.

5. Personal information; right to sell or share data

The way we collect, use, and share personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Please note: we do not currently sell personal information. We do, however, reserve the right to purchase, sell, license, or otherwise transfer personal information in the future, including in connection with the sale of all or part of a business, and any such transfer will be governed by these Terms and our Privacy Policy as in effect at that time.

6. Disclaimer; this is not legal advice

Everything on our websites is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. These pages — including this one — are written by the company in plain English. Nothing on this website is legal advice, and no page on it should be relied on as legal advice. The owner or his or her counsel should review the actual legal wording before anyone relies on it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company — including each of Seigler Corp, Coastal Construction and Maintenance, Seigler Consulting, and Seigler Holding LLC, individually — will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any damages exceeding the amount you actually paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, North Carolina, and each company and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page, and your continued use of the websites or services after that update means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Service agreement terms

The specific terms that apply to a Seigler Corp service agreement — renewal, cancellation, scheduled visits, repairs, materials, inspections, and service area — are set out below. They apply to every agreement and are written out in plain words so nothing is a surprise later.

Renewal and price adjustment

Agreements renew automatically for successive terms unless either party gives written notice at least 30 days before the renewal date. Pricing is reviewed annually and may be adjusted at renewal with at least 30 days’ written notice. Adjustments at renewal will not exceed 10% in any single term, unless your coverage counts or selected modules change. Your labor rate and diagnostic terms are fixed for the duration of each term.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time with 30 days’ written notice. Annual agreements are refunded pro rata for the unused portion of the term, less the retail value of scheduled visits already delivered at $150 per visit. Quarterly agreements run to the end of the current quarter. Agreements cancelled after all scheduled visits for the term have been delivered are not refunded.

Scheduled visits, missed and unused

Scheduled visits are offered within each agreement period and do not carry over. We propose dates in advance and confirm with you. A visit counts as delivered if we arrive at the agreed time and access to the covered areas is unavailable, or if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice. Visits you decline to schedule within the period are forfeited.

Inspection time allowance

Each scheduled visit includes the inspection allowance stated for your agreement. If your covered openings and fixtures need more time than that, the technician tells you before continuing. You may stop — the report then covers what was inspected — or continue at your member labor rate, billed in whole hours with a one-hour minimum.

Repairs during a scheduled visit

Inspection, adjustment, tightening and lubrication are included in the visit. Any repair or replacement, however brief, is billed at your member labor rate in whole hours with a one-hour minimum, and begins only after you approve the price. Work requested while a technician is on site is treated the same as any other repair.

Approval limits and stop-and-quote

Where an approval limit is set, we complete approved work up to that amount without further authorization. If work in progress is found to exceed the limit, the technician stops, secures the area where practical, and issues a written price before continuing. No work above your limit proceeds without written approval.

Materials and parts

Materials, parts and hardware are not included in any agreement price and are billed separately. Material purchases above $500 on a single work order require your approval before work proceeds. Every material line references the vendor catalog page, edition and effective date its price was taken from.

What an inspection report is

Inspection reports record the condition of accessible components observed at the time of the visit. They are not a certification, a code compliance review, or a warranty of future performance. Concealed conditions, items behind finished surfaces, and anything outside your selected modules are not included.

Service area and travel

Published pricing covers properties in New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender and Onslow counties, with travel already built into the price. Properties outside these four counties are quoted individually and carry a travel adjustment.

Transfer on sale

An agreement is tied to the covered property. If the property is sold, the agreement may be transferred to the new owner on written notice, or cancelled under the terms above.
